1. How long have you been with Lugera?

I am working with Lugera team for a year and a few months. My decision to join the IT Recruiters team and to move to Bucharest was influenced by my desire to work strictly in IT recruitment and to have the opportunity to learn as much as I can … but I guess that my ultimate desire was to change the perception of IT specialists about people working in HR or more precisely „the HR girl who knows nothing about IT ”. 😊

As soon as I got here, I was lucky to meet beautiful people, with whom I took my first steps in IT recruitment … because all of us had experience in general recruitment, if I can call it this way.

2. What’s the most WOW thing that we don’t know about you?

There are enough things that my colleagues (still) don’t know about me:

  • I’m passionate about sports. I played handball for the local team in Suceava for 6 years and a half.
  • As soon as I moved to Bucharest, I joined a drums band, Balasa Percussion. I had my first concert last year, at the end of June, at a private party for a travel agency. Unfortunately, due to lack of time, 2 months ago I had to give up this hobby.

  • During my free time I like to draw or to write various articles – these being my perfect way to relax, to disconnect from everything that is daily routine and to find myself.

3. What’s your way to relax at the end of the day?

Usually, after a day of work I like to read. I recently decided to read again some of the recommended fiction in high-school and I started with Anna Karenina. Then, before I sleep I like to go out for a walk/for jogging with my sister … it really helps me with my sleeping 😊.

4. What’s the funniest thing that happened to you lately?

The funniest thing was going to work in my slippers and realizing this only when I left the building. Of course, it wasn’t very funny to me because I was almost asleep, but the neighbors who were next to me definitely enjoyed seeing a well-dressed girl going to work with her house slippers.

6. What do you like most about your job?

It may seem like a cliché, but what I like most about my job is the fact that I’m constantly interacting with people and that I can help them, work with them to change some of their preconceptions regarding previous experiences with other recruiters and to prove the contrary. Also, the feeling of being part of Lugera family…that joy when you enter the office and you see people with a smile upon their face and always trying to help the others, with advice, a recommendation or even with an ice-cream.

7. Who and what inspires you?

Being an empathic person, my daily inspiration comes from the people I interact with, from that joy that you see whenever you help them with something, but, at the same time, from the thirst for learning as much as I can about IT and about the new technologies on the market and how they can improve an existing application.

8. How lucky are you and why?

I couldn’t say that I am the kind of person who believes in luck. I believe in everyone’s power to change one thing or more, but only by their own strengths and decisions.

9. Tell us about your day using a movie title.

There is a movie that inspires me everyday: The Iron Lady

10. If you could choose one song to play every time you walked into your office, what would it be?

1. De cat timp esti in echipa Lugera  – The People Republic?

Sunt in echipa Lugera – The People Republic de un an si cateva luni. Decizia mea de a ma alatura echipei de IT Recruiters, implicit de  a veni in Bucuresti (de fel sunt din Suceava), a tinut mai mult de dorinta mea de a lucra strict in domeniul recrutarii IT si de a invata cat de mult pot…dar cred ca cel mai mult mi-am dorit sa pot schimba perceptia IT-istilor despre oamenii din HR sau mai exact „fata de la HR care nu stie nimic”. 😊

Imediat ce am ajuns aici am avut norocul de a cunoaste oameni frumosi, alaturi de care am facut primii nostri pasi in recrutarea IT, noi venind din domeniul recrutarii generale, daca o pot numi asa.

2. Care este cel mai interesant lucru despre tine pe care nu l-am putea afla din CV-ul tau?

Cred ca sunt destule lucruri care (inca) nu se stiu despre mine:

    • Sunt pasionata de sport. Am jucat 6 ani si jumatate handbal in echipa locala de handbal (competitii locale intre licee);
    • Imediat ce am ajuns in Bucuresti m-am alaturat unei trupe de tobe/percutie, Balasa Percussion. Primul meu concert la tobe a avut loc anul trecut, la finalul lunii iunie, in cadrul unei petreceri private pentru o agentie de turism. Din pacate, din lipsa timpului, de 2 luni am fost nevoita sa renunt la acest hobby, ultima reprezentantie avand loc anul acesta, la Marsul Biciclistilor.

  • In timpul meu liber imi place sa desenez in creion sau sa scriu diverse articole – fiind relaxarea perfecta pentru mine, deconectarea de tot ceea ce inseamna rutina zilnica si regasire a eului.

3. Cum reusesti sa te relaxezi la sfarsitul unei zile?

De obicei sfarsitul unei zile ma prinde citind. M-am apucat sa recitesc o parte din beletristica recomandata in perioada liceului si am inceput cu Anna Karenina. Apoi, inainte de somn cu 1-2 ore ies afara la alergat in parcul de langa mine impreuna cu sora mea.

4. Care a fost cel mai amuzant lucru care ti s-a intamplat in ultimul timp?

Cel mai amuzant lucru a fost sa plec la serviciu in papuci de casa si sa realizez ca sunt incaltata gresit abia la iesirea din bloc.  Desigur ca pentru mine nu a fost foarte amuzant pentru ca aproape dormeam, dar vecinii care erau langa mine cu siguranta s-au distrat copios sa vada o fata aranjata si imbracata office merge cu papucii ei de casa 😊.

5. Care este ultima ta poza publicata pe Facebook sau ultimul post?

Ultimul meu post de pe Facebook este al unui desen ce l-am facut aseara, ascultand pe repeat un cover. Hit play here! 

6. Ce-ti place cel mai mult la job-ul tau?

Poate parea ca un cliseu, dar cel mai mult imi place faptul ca pot interactiona cu oamenii si ca ii pot ajuta, sa lucrez cu ei in a le schimba anumite preconceptii formate de experientele anterioare cu alti recruiteri si in a le demonstra contrariul.

Un alt lucru, este sentimentul de apartenenta in familia Lugera.  Este exact acel sentiment de bucurie cand intri in birou si vezi oamenii cu zambetul pe buze si mereu incercand sa se ajute unii pe ceilalti cum pot ei mai bine, cu un sfat, cu o recomandare sau chiar cu cate o inghetata. 

7. Cine si ce te inspira?

Fiind o persoana empatica, inspiratia mea zilnica vine de la persoanele cu care interactionez, vine din acea bucurie care li se citeste pe chip atunci cand reusesc sa ii ajut, dar in acelasi timp vine din ‚setea’ de a invata cat mai multe despre IT si despre noile tehnologii care apar pe piata si cum pot ele sa imbunatateasca o aplicatie deja existenta.

8. Cat de norocos/norocoasa esti si de ce?

Nu as putea spune ca eu sunt genul de persoana care crede in noroc. Cred in puterea fiecaruia de a schimba un lucru sau mai multe, dar asta prin propriile forte si decizii, nu asteptand sa prinda pestisorul de aur.

9. Descrie-ti ziua de astazi folosindu-te de un nume de film.

Exista un film care imi inspira fiecare zi, si anume “The Iron Lady’.

10. Daca ai putea alege o melodie care sa se auda de fiecare data in birou, care ar fi aceea?
