For our client, a leading company that provides EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) solutions for large-scale PV power plants, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer/Technician O&M – PV Power Plants.
Description
Ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of PV systems, including inverters, solar trackers, transformers, BESS, SCADA, and grid compliance, all while adhering to high standards of quality and safety;
Conducting corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing electrical defects;
Conducting various tests on systems and equipment to verify their functionality, performance, and safety;
Inspecting the installation of systems, equipment, and components to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations;
Diagnosing and resolving technical defects related to the equipment;
Providing technical expertise to the O&M team regarding PV equipment;
Proposing and implementing solutions to optimize energy production and system reliability;
Supervising third-party contractors for specialized maintenance activities;
Ensuring that all activities will comply with the Romanian regulations and safety standards;
Preparing reports on maintenance activities;
Managing spare parts inventory and tools.
Requirements
At least 1 - 2 years of experience in operation and maintenance of PV power plants or similar electrical systems;
Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technician certification, or other relevant technical qualification;
Good command of written and spoken English;
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment;
Knowledge of solar PV system design, operation, and maintenance.
