For our client, a specialist in global vehicle logistics, we are looking for a Financial Controller based in Bucharest.
Description
Preparing monthly financial reporting and controlling activities for different companies within the Group;
Preparing performance reports and executive summaries, highlighting key metrics and variances against forecasts and budgets;
Conducting variance analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement;
Supporting business leaders in understanding financial results and performance drivers;
Preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with the Group’s strategic goals;
Preparing weekly, and monthly operational and financial performance reports to monitor the progress of KPIs and inform decision-makers;
Providing support to local financial controllers on reporting matters and assisting them in resolving errors or creating new structures within the reporting tool as needed;
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and Group policies;
Collaborating with external auditors to facilitate audits;
Coordinating with other departments in order to continuously improve processes and data accuracy necessary to ensure the quality of the delivered services.
Requirements
At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of controlling, FP&A, reporting, or auditing in an international environment; a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Finance/Controlling/Accounting, professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) would be a plus;
English fluency; and German would be an advantage.
A strong IT command is a must;
Good understanding of accounting principles & management reporting;
Excellent MS Office knowledge with mandatory advanced knowledge in MS Excel;
Professional usage of ERP systems (MS Dynamics NAV would be an advantage).
