For our client- top company in Europe in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector, we are looking for a Financial Controller, in Cluj-Napoca.
Description
Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to manage financial risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements;
Providing financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, as well as customer/category profitability analysis;
Collaborating with other departments, including operations, sales, and marketing, to identify opportunities to improve financial performance and drive growth;
Having a perfect overview of current processes in place, constantly thinking about and realizing possible improvements.
Requirements
University degree in Finance / Accounting or related field;
Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis and control preferably from BIG4;
Advanced English level;
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and communicate key financial insights and trends;
Experience with internal control audits would be a plus;
Ability to work independently.
