Company description
For our client, a leading private provider of inspection, certification, verification, and testing services, we are looking for a HSE Site Officer.
Description
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, policies, and regulations on-site;
Conducting daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and enforce safe work practices;
Developing and implementing risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and permit-to-work systems for wind farm activities;
Delivering safety briefings, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions for site personnel and contractors;
Investigating incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing reports, and recommending corrective and preventive measures;
Collaborating with project management teams to plan and execute operations in line with HSE best practices;
Monitoring and enforcing safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials used in wind farm operations.
Requirements
GWO (Global Wind Organisation) courses;
Bachelor's degree or advanced technical diploma in occupational health and safety engineering;
1+ years of experience in wind energy;
In-depth knowledge of HSE standards and regulations;
Strong skills in managing HSE aspects of contractors/subcontractors, including mobilization/demobilization, pre-qualification requirements, and post-work evaluation;
Proven experience in site hazard assessment, risk analysis, incident investigation, and root cause analysis;
Advanced English.
