Company description
For our client- an electric industrial group, specialised in electricity production from renewable sources ( solar & wind sector), we are recruiting a Junior Accountant, in Bucharest.
Description
Monitoring the correctness and completeness of journal entries;
Issuing invoices and performing balance sheet figures reconciliation – equity and capital, intangible and tangible assets, inventory and work in progress, payables, receivables, cash and cash equivalents;
Executing administrative tasks;
Assisting in the closing of accounts during month-end at company level and quarterly at Group level within deadlines;
Contributing to the daily tracking and organization of financial data;
Checking and controlling financial accounts related to balances, payments in/out, processing payables/receivables accounts, trade/financial debtors, accruals to bad debt provisions and incoming payments schedules;
Keeping record of storage materials (Entrance – Exit);
Managing relationships with third parties such as accounting consultants and auditors;
Evaluating current operations to identify and implement process improvements;
Ensuring information accuracy and reacting in a timely manner when discrepancies occur.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting;
At least 2 years of previous working experience in corporation industries such as construction, development, real estate or BIG4/ accounting companies with exposure to previous industries;
Knowledge of local GAAP accounting principles;
Fluent English - both written and spoken; knowledge of Italian is considered a plus;
Good IT skills - MS Office and familiarity with ERP computer software.
