Senior Accountant - Chief Accountant

For our client, a company specializing in the distribution of agricultural inputs and materials, we are looking for a Chief Accountant.
Description
Recording the daily transactions of sales, purchases, and expenses into the ERP system;
Taking control of accounting transactions and ensuring that all incoming/outgoing invoices are correct and registered properly;
Being responsible for preparing and submitting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual internal reports;
Preparing financial statements and all declarations to Tax Authorities;
Controlling inventory transactions;
Preparing the budget and forecasting;
Coordinating contacts with key customers, government institutions, and suppliers;
Executing HR administration and payroll;
Coordinating the financial month-end closure and maintaining a clean and accurate general ledger;
Ensuring the company's compliance with internal controls around certain accounting activities.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of independent accounting and finance experience;
University degree in Accounting or Finance;
Conversational level of the English language;
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the accounting and tax laws and regulations in Romania;
Good understanding of financial reports.
