For our client, an experienced chartered accounting company, we are looking for a Senior Accountant in Bucharest.
Description
Bookkeeping activities to final trial balances;
Managing a portfolio of clients with different objects of activity;
Ensuring timely and correct preparation of the returns, according to the requirements of Romanian legislation and timely filing in the tax authority office;
Preparing half/end-year balance sheets;
Ensuring the timely filing in the tax authority office;
Providing reports on accounting issues upon client's request;
Providing customer services, liaising with clients in a friendly and professional manner;
Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual records.
Requirements
University degree in Economics;
Trainee/Member of Romanian professional bodies is considered a plus;
Minimum 4 years working experience in accounting (preferably from accounting companies);
Good knowledge of accounting and fiscal legislation;
Knowledge of English (B2);
Excellent Microsoft Office skills;
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
