For our client, a multinational company specializing in the shipping market, we are looking for a Transport Planner.
Description
Recording orders received, sending notifications to customers, and updating container movements;
Planning, organizing, and controlling activities related to import/export road and rail transport;
Scheduling and organizing routes to optimize transport costs, generating increased profit;
Preparing transport invoices to customers and monitoring their collection;
Monitoring, verifying, and updating the rates offered to carriers for import/export car trips;
Assisting the sales department in calculating transport rates;
Checking the invoices prepared by carriers;
Keeping in touch with other departments within the company to fulfill their duties;
Preparing monthly statistics related to the intermodal import/export part.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar position (container);
Experience in shipping companies or shipping lines (advantage);
English at a minimum medium level;
Excellent communication, planning, and organizing skills.
