For our client, a leading company that provides EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) solutions for large-scale PV power plants, we are looking for a Civil Engineer for solar (PV) power station projects.
Descriere
Performing site evaluations to assess suitability for PV construction, including soil analysis, topography, and environmental impact;
Developing and reviewing civil engineering designs for PV projects, including site grading, drainage systems, access roads, and foundation designs for solar panel arrays;
Ensuring that foundations, supports, and mounting structures for solar panels meet structural integrity standards and comply with local building codes and regulations;
Supervising and managing all civil construction activities on-site, including excavation, foundation work, concrete pouring, road construction, and other infrastructure development;
Assisting with the preparation of technical documents and ensuring all civil works comply with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety codes;
Working closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and contractors to coordinate civil construction activities with the overall project timeline;
Overseeing quality assurance processes for civil engineering works, ensuring construction meets design specifications and company standards;
Monitoring project costs related to civil works, optimizing for efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards;
Enforcing and adhering to safety protocols during the execution of civil construction work to ensure the safety of all personnel on-site.
Cerințe
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
3+ years of experience in civil engineering, with experience in renewable energy or large-scale construction projects preferred;
Strong understanding of site grading, foundations, and structural analysis;
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software;
Knowledge of construction materials and soil mechanics;
Familiarity with local building codes, environmental regulations, and permitting processes;
A Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus but not required;
Knowledge of geotechnical engineering and stormwater management;
Experience with environmental impact assessments related to large-scale construction projects;
Fluency in English and Romanian language;
Strong organizational and project management skills.
