For our client, an important banking institution, we are looking for a Linux Administrator.
Descriere
Linux & UNIX System Management
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot RHEL systems;
Provide operational support for AIX systems and other Linux distributions (e.g. Ubuntu, Debian);
Perform system hardening, patching, and lifecycle management in line with security policies;
Support virtualization platforms and hosted workloads (Oracle KVM);
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
Storage & SAN (Working Knowledge Level)
Connect Linux and AIX systems to storage systems;
Configure and manage SAN connectivity;
Perform zoning, multipathing configuration, and troubleshooting.
Operations & Collaboration
Act as 2nd/3rd line support for development teams and other infrastructure teams;
Work closely with network, database, security and development teams;
Participate in migrations and infrastructure projects;
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures;
Support audits and compliance requirements in a regulated environment.
Cerințe
Technical Skills
Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration;
Working knowledge of AIX and other open-source Linux distributions;
Experience with SAN-based storage connectivity, LUN management, zoning, and basic SAN operations;
Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python or similar);
Experience with monitoring, backup, and security tooling.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of enterprise backup systems;
Basic knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware);
Basic knowledge of container management systems (Openshift, Kubernetes etc);
Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, or similar);
Understanding of ITIL-based operational processes.
