For one of our clients, a multinational computer technology corporation, one of the largest software companies in the world, we are looking for a Network Engineer.
Descriere
Creating and defining documentation and runbooks for the newly launched Cloud offering for GNOC use;
Establishing clear demarcation for troubleshooting accountability for network operators;
Defining Incident triage processes with agreed upon SLAs and engagement process for consumption;
Identifying actionable incidents using a monitoring system, strong analytical problem-solving skills to mitigate network events/incidents and follow up on routine RCA, coordinating with support teams and vendors;
Joining major events/incidents calls, using technical and analytical skills to resolve network issues that impact the company's customers/service, coordinating with SMEs, providing root cause analysis;
Executing network changes following the defined change management process that includes break-fix changes, upgrades, and decommissioning of the network devices;
Working with multiple support teams during incident calls, coordination with SMEs, providing root cause analysis and corrective actions;
Maintaining records of equipment failure and liaising with engineers and suppliers as necessary;
Working00 with a world-class team located across the world who supports the network infrastructure environment.
Cerințe
Experience in a large enterprise network infrastructure supporting 24/7 and willing to work in rotational shifts in a network operations role;
2+ years of hands-on experience supporting network technologies, especially Juniper, Cisco (Nexus and Catalyst), Arista switches, Juniper SRX firewalls and F5 load balancers;
Demonstrated knowledge in routing protocol (eg: OSPF, BGP, IS-IS), switching, firewall, load balancer and DDoS mitigation;
CCNA, Cisco or Juniper certifications constitute an advantage;
Excellent oral and written technical and interpersonal communication skills;
Highly motivated and a self-starter.
