For our client, a market leader in consumer lending in Romania, we are hiring a project-based Senior Accountant – Payables, Treasury & Fixed Assets.
Descriere
Recording correctly all economic operations in the accounting system and ensuring their verification;
Ensuring accurate internal and external reporting of financial data;
Registering all accounting and reporting operations within the legal deadlines;
Establishing the structure and accuracy of account balances;
Posting accounting entries, issuing invoices, and booking revenue and direct costs;
Verifying the accuracy of the monthly trial balance;
Reconciling balance sheet accounts and analytical ledgers;
Ensuring reconciliation of all assigned accounting accounts as part of the monthly close process;
Acting as an expert user of the accounting software and managing the system from the Finance department’s perspective;
Participating actively in the continuous development and optimization of the accounting system;
Preparing and assisting with tax declarations;
Supporting group reporting processes;
Submitting various reports requested by management, group, or authorities.
Cerințe
Having at least 5 years of experience in accounting;
Demonstrating strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards;
Good English language skills;
Being comfortable with ERP/accounting software and Excel;
Showing good attention to detail and analytical thinking.
