For our client, a multinational company in the construction industry, we are looking for a Senior Accountant.
Descriere
Managing outsourced functions and ensuring effective coordination;
Reviewing and managing monthly accounts closure;
Preparing and submitting monthly financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and annual budgets to the headquarters;
Ensuring full compliance with group accounting and financial policies and procedures;
Collaborating with external auditors to release annual audited accounts on time;
Managing direct and indirect taxes, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and reporting to the headquarters;
Funds Management;
Forecasting cash flow positions, borrowing needs, and available funds for investment;
Ensuring that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements;
Maintaining banking relationships;
Managing the preparation of the company's budget;
Reporting the variances from the established budget to management, providing reasons for those variances;
Assisting management in formulating the overall strategic direction;
Engaging in ongoing cost reduction analyses across all areas of the company;
Conducting benchmarking studies to identify areas for potential operational improvement;
Interpreting the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities;
Creating additional analyses and reports as requested by management;
Overseeing the extension of credit to customers and ensure adherence to the group's credit policy.
Cerințe
Proven experience in Accounting (manufacturing is a plus);
Member of CECCAR and knowledge of VAT and other tax declarations;
Fluent in English and a bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar;
Experience with SAP B1 is preferred.
